About Melissa

Prior to having children, Melissa worked in the offices of a Scale Model Company and a Computer Company doing administrative, technical, and executive tasks for her employers. Because she enjoys office work and has always wanted to get into the Medical field, she made the decision to return to school and graduated as a Medical Office Assistant.

After her first child was born in 2001, Melissa became a stay at home mom. That same year she began writing and submitting articles to print magazines and was thrilled when her work was accepted, and a check would arrive in the mail for her efforts. But, in an attempt to cut down on the wait time that is traditional with print publications, she turned her attention to the Internet where she steadily increased her income over the next few years.

In 2006 she was hired by a large Internet content company who catered to a vast range of clients that included hotels.com and Expedia.com. But, after several months of working on someone else’s schedule, she decided that it would make more sense to work for herself. So she quit her job there and never looked back.

Melissa has been in business for herself for the past 2 years providing copywriting services to business owners, so she knows first hand the value of content. She has written numerous sales letters, web pages, press releases, articles, newsletters, eCourses, eBooks, special reports, and advertisements for her clients and she has discovered what works and what doesn’t!

Content is what the Internet is all about, and because she has personally seen the success that can be obtained through it, she has made it her business to help others use it effectively throughout every aspect of their own business.

  1. Hi Melissa,
How are you? I saw you a while back on Lynn Terry’s blog and wanted to talk to you about seeing if you would be interested in doing an interview on my BlogTalkRadio show?

I would love to talk to you about copywriting. A lot of people that I work with and train don’t understand the importance of copywriting.

If you are interested, please feel free to contact me at: PaulCooleyMarketing@gmail.com

    Thank you very much Melissa.
    God bless!
